Guusto is very proud to have partnered with the One Drop Foundation, an initiative by Guy Laliberte (founder of Cirque de Soleil), to donate one day of clean drinking water for every Guusto gift sent!
When Guusto launched back in 2013, the central concept for the company was being able to buy a drink for a client, colleague or friend, when you couldn't be there in person. We also wanted to build purpose into the core of the company from day one, so it was a great fit to also provide a drink to someone who really needed it.
The One Drop Foundation used their historical projects to calculate that it takes about 7-10 cents for them to supply a day's worth of clean drinking water for one person. So for every Guusto gift sent, a 10 cent donation is made to One Drop to help them fund future sustainable water projects around the world.
