Guest Redemption allows recipients to claim and redeem their Guusto gifts without signing up for an account, making the experience faster and more accessible.


What’s included

Continue as Guest
Recipients can skip account creation and proceed directly to redeem their gift.

Dedicated guest experience
Recipients can view gift details, select a merchant, and redeem their funds on a standalone page.

Flexible access
Guest Redemption works across email links, QR codes, printouts, and shareable links.

Reporting visibility
All guest redemptions are tracked and marked as claimed in reporting.


How to claim and redeem a gift as a guest

  1. Open your gift notification email and click Claim to my account.

  2. On the next page, select Continue as Guest.

  3. Choose a merchant and confirm your selection.

  4. Click View Gift Card to access your gift.

After confirming your selection, your gift card will open in a new window.

To access your gift again later, return to the original gift link. For security purposes, a PIN code will be sent to verify your identity.


Additional considerations

  • Pop-up blockers
    If a pop-up blocker is enabled, you will be prompted with an option to manually open your gift after redemption.

  • Creating an account later
    If you create a Guusto account after redeeming a gift as a guest, the gift will not automatically appear in your account.
