How to use the Dashboard Settings on Guusto

The Dashboard Settings page allows Workspace Admins to customize what appears on their Workspace Dashboard and control how recognition activity is displayed internally.

Use these settings to tailor the Dashboard experience for your team, highlight what matters most, and manage visibility across your organization


Accessing Dashboard Settings

  1. Log in to Guusto.

  2. Navigate to Admin → Workspaces.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Select Dashboard.


Customize Dashboard

Choose which widgets appear on your Workspace Dashboard. This ensures your team sees the most relevant information at a glance.


Preferences

Toggle the following widgets on or off:

Show Bulletin Board

The Bulletin Board displays company announcements and important updates directly on the Dashboard. It’s ideal for sharing internal news, reminders, or recognition highlights.

Configuring the Bulletin Board:

  1. Click Configure under the Bulletin Board widget.

  2. You can add up to 5 memos. Each memo can include:

    • Title: A brief, clear headline.

    • Details: The main content of the memo.

    • Call to Action (Optional): Encourage an action from your team.

    • Call to Action Link (Optional): Link to relevant resources.

    • Image (Optional): Attach an image to enhance the memo’s visibility.

Example: You could create a memo highlighting a new internal initiative, a recognition campaign, or an important policy update.


Show Manager Insights

Displays insights and reporting relevant to managers, such as recognition trends and activity summaries.

  • Recommended for Workspaces with active people leaders who monitor engagement and gifting performance.


Show Celebrations

Highlights employee milestones such as birthdays and work anniversaries.

  • Encourages peer-to-peer recognition.

  • Helps increase engagement around key moments.


Show Days of Water Donated

Displays the cumulative impact of water donations made through Guusto’s charity partners.

  • Reinforces your organization’s social impact.

  • Great for teams that value corporate social responsibility.


Show Top 3 Gift Reasons

Displays the most common reasons gifts are being sent in your Workspace.

  • Helps identify cultural trends.

  • Encourages alignment with company values.


Dashboard Filter

Use Dashboard Filters to pre-filter activity displayed to Workspace Members.

This is especially useful for:

  • Large organizations

  • Multi-location teams

  • Department-specific visibility

  • Franchises or portfolio companies

Select Data Field to Filter:

  • Choose a data field (such as Department, Location, or Custom Field) to automatically filter activity shown on the Dashboard.

  • If set to None, all Workspace activity will display.

  • When a filter is applied, users will only see activity relevant to their assigned data field.

Ensure member profiles are properly assigned to data fields before applying a filter to avoid missing activity.


Share Activity Feed (TV Mode)

Make recognition more visible by displaying activity on a public screen.

Activate TV Mode

Turn on TV Mode to display a live recognition feed suitable for:

  • Office TVs

  • Reception areas

  • Warehouse displays

  • Internal intranet pages

TV Mode creates a clean, presentation-friendly display of recognition activity that updates automatically.

Note: TV Mode is available only on Paid Plans: Essential and Premium. Only share TV Mode on screens appropriate for public recognition visibility.


Saving Your Changes

After adjusting your Dashboard preferences:

  1. Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.

  2. Your settings will apply immediately to your Workspace Dashboard.


Permissions

Only Workspace Admins can modify Dashboard Settings. If you do not see this option, contact your Workspace Admin for assistance.
