How do I mandate the 'Claim by' period for gifts sent by Workspace Members?

As a Workspace Admin, you can mandate how long recipients have to claim their gift—whether that's 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or even choose to allow no expiration date. This helps ensure timely engagement and reduces gift inventory clutter.


Follow these steps to configure the Claim Period in your Workspace settings:

1. Login to the Guusto web platform

2. Select your desired Workspace from the drop-down menu in the top-left corner

3. Navigate to Workspace Settings.


​4. Proceed to the Restrictions tab and toggle the icon next to 'Mandate Claim By period' to switch it ON.


​5. Select a claim period from the drop down menu

You can choose from 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or 'No Set Date'. By choosing 'No Set Date', you are prohibiting your Workspace Members from setting a 'Claim by' period when sending gifts.
